Abstract:

Abstract.? A new fern species, Dryopteris jiucaipingensis P. S. Wang, Q. Luo Dryopteridaceae), is described and illustrated from northwestern Guizhou, China. Dryopteris jiucaipingensis is most similar to D. lunanensis (Christ) C. Chr., but the former taxon has light brown rachis scales and occurs in alpine regions (at an elevation of 2580 m), while the latter has nearly black rachis scales and is found in montane and lowland areas (below 900 m).Abstract.?
