Anardent wildlife enthusiast, this technocrat finds out innovative ways to get away from the “world of technology” for his pursuits in wildlife. He is an ornithologist at heart with keen interest in Ornithological Research especially Historical Ornithology of Indian Subcontinent, Population Dynamics, Breeding Biology and Distribution & Niche Modeling. Using his technical skills, he concentrates on using ICT for Conservation,"ICT4C" (Information and Communication Technologies for Conservation). A winner of the Carl Zeiss Wildlife Conservation Award for his work on IBIS Portals, Arpit is an aspiring professional wildlife photographer with many national and international publications.

She has been pursuing her Ph.D. in Botany and working in the field of Biodiversity-Informatics for more than six years. Using her broad based knowledge and extensive planning, Minal has managed the compilation of the baseline database on Indian Flora within a year’s time, working with a close-knit, small team.

A “Nature lover”, interested in traveling, wildlife, bird watching and photography, Komal has a roving eye for the birds. Formally educated in Botany, she has been working in the area of biodiversity since 2012. She has given her best, fulfilling various responsibilities ranging from content development to taxonomy. Her main focus has been AVIS phase-II of Indian subcontinent along with other portals.

A web developer, with specialty in Bioinformatics and a keen interest in Perl, Jay is an excellent programmer with a combined knowledge of life sciences and technology. He actively contributes as a developer and programmer of the IBIS portals and has implemented many of the features on the portals.

A quick learner and an excellent aesthetic command on designing and creating page layouts, Ashish is a quick learner and works in the area of GIS and Desktop Publishing Softwares (DTP).n. In IBIS, his main role has been to develop database from the Natural History literature, which has ignited a deep interest in wildlife photography. He has good command over ArcGIS too.
